Lee Kernaghan

"Trees are essential to all Australians' quality of life, and I'm pleased to play a positive role in doing something about it. Trees are natural air filters that help create a cleaner environment for everyone and a home for native birds and animals."

Toyota dig deep on National Tree Day

National Tree Day

Like many Toyota dealerships throughout Australia, Mike Carney of Toyota QLD proudly joined other volunteers to help make last years National Tree Day a huge success.

Ricky Stuart goes Green for National Tree Day

"While you might be wondering about the connection between trees and sport, let me tell you that one tree has the capacity to absorb more than one tonne of carbon over its lifetime. With all the huffing and puffing on the sporting field, it's even more important to keep the air clean."

"For local sporting facilities this is even more essential. Fans of grassroots clubs need trees to supply shade while they cheer on their teams, not every club has the luxury of a grandstand."

"Trees are also home to animals and birds who help to make our local sporting grounds a better place."

"Don't forget to roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty and get involved."
